Position Summary

City of Hope is seeking a compassionate and skilled Oncology Nurse (Endocrinology) to join our outpatient clinic team in South Pasadena. The Oncology Nurse will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment related to endocrine disorders. This opportunity is for full-time, 8-hour shifts, and 40 hours per week. This clinic is open Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm.   

Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus available!

As a successful candidate, you will:

Administer chemotherapy, hormonal therapies, and other oncology treatments as prescribed.Monitor and manage patients for treatment side effects and complications.Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medication management, and self-care strategies.Collaborate with endocrinologists, oncologists, and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and their families.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

Associate degree in nursingRN III - 3+ years of experience as a RNCurrent California Registered Nurse licenseCurrent BLS through American Heart AssociationMust obtain ONS (chemotherapy) certification within 6 months of hire
