**Registered Nurse – Hospice**
**Location:** Ketchikan Alaska
**Schedule:** Full Time | Day Shift | 1.0 FTE
**Hourly Range:** $42.77 – $68.68 (DOE, union-represented)

Are you a compassionate RN looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families at the end of life? PeaceHealth is seeking a dedicated **Hospice RN** to join our interdisciplinary care team, delivering skilled nursing and holistic support to patients in their homes.
In this role, you’ll assess patients for hospice eligibility, develop individualized care plans, and provide direct, hands-on nursing care in accordance with physician orders. You’ll also educate patients and caregivers, support Home Health Aide care plans, and collaborate with a team of social workers, chaplains, and volunteers to ensure the highest quality of care.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Conduct initial patient/home assessments and determine hospice eligibility
+ Deliver skilled nursing care and compassionate education for patients and families
+ Develop and manage individualized plans of care based on medical goals and evolving needs
+ Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth transitions and coordinated services
+ Contribute to bereavement planning and support for families following patient loss
+ Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulations
**What You Bring:**
+ Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
+ Active RN license in the state of practice
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
+ Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
+ Minimum of 1 year of hospice or home health experience
+ Strong clinical judgment, compassionate presence, and communication skills
