You'll work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, ensuring patients and families receive exceptional support and education to promote wellness. **What You'll Do:** + **Provide Comprehensive Patient Care:** Plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care plans, ensuring adherence to established protocols and policies. + **Support Clinic Operations:** Prepare patients for visits, document care accurately, and assist clinic staff as needed, including covering absences. + **Ensure Patient Safety:** Uphold infection control, medication administration, and controlled substance regulations. + **Collaborate Effectively:** Foster strong relationships within the healthcare team through clear communication and teamwork. + **Educate and Empower:** Provide essential health education to patients and their families. + **Adhere to Standards:** Practice nursing according to the North Dakota Nurse Practice Act and all regulatory standards. + **Continuous Growth:** Maintain professional competency through ongoing training and cross-training in areas like patient registration, phlebotomy, and waived testing. **Job Requirements** Bachelor’s degree in nursing required Licensed to practice nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state Basic life support certified **Where You'll Work** Since 1885, CHI St. Alexius Health has been dedicated to leading health care in this region by enriching the lives of patients through the highest quality of care.
