The incumbent is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a patient assignment through therapeutic use of self the nursing process and other health care team members. The incumbent as a member of the health care team appropriately assists team members in providing holistic care to patients and their support systems with an awareness of cost containment and time management. The incumbent will float to multiple units within the hospital possibly multiple times per shift based upon the incumbent's skills and competencies as determined by the Nursing Supervisor or the Staffing Office.

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
1-year consecutive recent (within the last five years) Cardiac Telemetry experience or higher level critical unit experience. May train when operational considerations allowAssociates Degree in NursingAbility to work in diverse areasCurrent California RN licenseCurrent BLS ACLS PALS and NRP. If a candidate does not have PALS and/or NRP it must be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.Verbal and written communication and computer skillsCompletion of a basic dysrhythmia coursePreferred Qualifications:
