We are seeking a RN Executive Director Specialist – Hospice to join our leadership team. This role acts as the administrator on call and is responsible for the overall operation of assigned **Georgia** markets, including the employment of qualified hospice staff and the delivery of high-quality services across multiple sites. The Executive Director Specialist RN will provide leadership and stability by filling in across markets, ensuring consistent compliance, quality, and patient care standards.
**What You’ll Do as Executive Director Specialist – RN:**
+ Serve as the Administrator on record at assigned hospice agencies throughout the state of Georgia.
+ Oversee the day-to-day operations including staffing, compliance, patient services, and performance improvement
+ Drive clinical quality and ensure services meet Medicare Conditions of Participation, state hospice regulations, and Gentiva standards
+ Lead, coach, and support hospice care teams to meet patient-centered goals
+ Manage operational budgets with full P&L responsibility
+ Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure smooth transitions and sustainable team performance
+ Travel up to 100% throughout the region to provide onsite leadership
**About You**
**Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:**
+ Registered Nurse (RN) with current license in the state of residence
+ 3–5 years of leadership or sales/management experience, preferably in hospice or healthcare
+ Experience with Medicaid/Medicare regulations and reimbursement
+ Strong understanding of hospice operations and regulatory compliance
+ Able to work independently and travel frequently
+ Effective communicator with strong decision-making and time management skills
+ Highly proficient with technology and digital platforms
+ Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality care
**Preferred Experience (Not Required):**
+ Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
