RN - Emergency Room (ER)
Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **RN-Emergency Room (ER)** to work at a Facility in **Sylmar, CA.** These are _registry_ positions with our company. **Pay Rate:** $68 / hour *W2 **Shift Details:** + 12 hrs + Minimum of 2 shifts per week or as needed + Days, Nights Weekends and Holidays **Nursing Specialty:** + Emergency Room **Duties:** + Triage patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care based on severity of condition + Deliver immediate and effective care to patients with acute injuries and medical emergencies + Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment + Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions as prescribed + Assist physicians with emergency procedures such as wound care, intubation, and splinting + Operate and troubleshoot critical medical equipment (e.g., EKG monitors, defibrillators) + Maintain clear communication with healthcare team, patients, and families during high-stress situations + Document assessments, treatments, and changes in patient condition in electronic medical records + Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and hospital safety standards + Remain composed and efficient in fast-paced, high-pressure environments **The requirements are:** + At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN). + A valid and current RN license issued by the State of **CA** + A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) + Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
