Responsibilities
Join our innovative eICU team delivering advanced critical care virtually for seven hospitals in the Omaha metro area—with plans for future expansion. In this technology-driven role, you’ll leverage your clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care remotely for critically ill patients, collaborating with bedside teams to ensure safety, quality, and excellent patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
Remotely monitor multiple ICU patients in real time across multiple hospitalsRecognize changes in patient condition and coordinate rapid interventionsCollaborate with on-site ICU staff and physicians during interdisciplinary roundsDocument assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EHRContribute to quality initiatives and continuous process improvementQualifications
Graduate of an RN nursing program.Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.Basic life support is required upon hire.ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within 5 months of hire. 2years of ICU / Critical Care nursing experience.Strong critical thinking, communication and multitasking skills.Comfortable working nights in a fast-paced, multi-hospital environment.Overview
