The Opportunity:
As Director of Nursing, you will lead our nursing department with vision and integrity. Your leadership will influence everything from staffing and staff development to the quality of care and operational success of the facility. You will have the resources, authority, and autonomy to:
+ Oversee all nursing staff management, scheduling, training, and performance development.
+ Direct Resident Care Services, ensuring compassionate, high-quality, and compliant care.
+ Serve as the primary nursing representative for Department of Health matters.
+ Conduct assessments, review medical histories, and guide care planning from admission through discharge.
+ Analyze clinical workflows to optimize efficiency and quality outcomes.
+ Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
What We’re Looking For
+ Registered Professional Nurse (current state license required)
+ At least two years of supervisory nursing experience (Assisted Living experience preferred)
+ Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
+ Knowledge of state and federal AH, EHP, ALR, ALP, EALR, and SNARL regulations preferred
+ UAS-PRI certification a plus
+ Ability to participate in on-call responsibilities and work flexible hours as needed

Responsibilities
Director of Nursing (DON)
+ Responsible for all staff management, training, scheduling, and personnel functions
+ Responsible for Resident Care Services and the overall direction and supervision of all direct care carried out by resident care staff.
+ Evaluate resident on admission, obtain medical history, check physician orders, transfer and pre-admission information. Review resident’s medical and social history. Conduct re-admission assessments for residents in area hospitals when necessary.
+ Serve as spokesperson for the Nursing Department for matters relating to the Department of Health.
+ Prepare and manage facility budget.
+ Conduct clinical workflow analysis and design.
+ Oversee operations of the Nursing department.
Qualifications
Director of Nursing (DON):
+ Credentials of Registered Professional Nurse with a current state license required.
+ Clinical experience in Assisted Living preferred.
+ At least two years of supervisory nursing experience required.
+ UAS-PRI certification preferred.
+ Knowledge of state and federal AH, EHP, ALR, ALP, EALR and SNARL regulations preferred.
+ Proficiency in various computer programs, applications, electronic communications, and electronic medical records.
+ Ability to participate in facility on call program, which may include working at facility during off hours.
+ This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
