Position Overview:
We are actively hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide essential healthcare services within Washington State correctional facilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver care in secure environments while supporting underserved populations. Nurses in these settings play a critical role in stabilizing patients, managing chronic conditions, and responding to urgent medical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide direct patient care in correctional settings
+ Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
+ Conduct assessments and respond to medical emergencies
+ Collaborate with custody staff and behavioral health teams
+ Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety protocols
Qualifications:
+ Active RN license in Washington or compact state
+ Minimum one year of nursing experience (Corrections, Psych, ED, or Med Surg preferred)
+ Current BLS certification (AHA)
+ Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
+ Comfortable working in secure and fast-paced environments
