As an RN Clinical Coordinator you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit. You will not serve as a supervisor or manager; instead serve as a clinical nurse and resource to the staff, authorize work procedures and assign duties, shift charge, as well as:
+ Demonstrating strong clinical judgment and ensuring high-quality care delivery to each patient.
+ Acting as a vital link between physicians and the patient care team to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
+ Maintaining communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
+ Provides input and recommendations to the director/manager on coaching, mentoring and performance management of associates.
+ Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
+ Act as a professional role model for all staff by demonstrating ethical/legal/professional nursing.
+ Promotes the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
+ Actively serves on unit as a registered nurse and may take patient assignments based on unit and patient needs and acuity.
+ Being personally, accountable for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
****Additional requirements per Unit****
**Two years Operating Room (OR) RN Experience required.**
**Two years leadership experience required- Either Charge RN or Service line leader.**
**Able to Circulate across multiple services in OR**
Day to Day:
+ Run front desk in the OR.
+ Ensure assignments for staff meet the daily need.
+ Schedule the next day’s assignments.
+ Communicate case changes to staff, support, and coach staff to build confidence and growth.
+ Hold staff accountable to policy and high standard of practice.
+ Collaborate with the lead Anesthesiologist on daily case flow and efficiency.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs/ practices for department associates.
+ Act as leadership within the department to support staff, Manager and Director.
+ Will also be used on occasion to help out in the rest of the OR
9 OR Suites-1 dedicated labor and delivery suite. Labor Delivery attends C-Sections
Approx. 20-30+ cases per Day
Schedule: 36hr/wk-Days- Variable shifts per surgical volume and current unit needs.
Call Required-Approx 5 call shifts in 6 weeks –1900-0700 weeknights and 700-1900, 1900-0700 on weekends
30min Callback radius required. Sleep rooms available in House
**Job Requirements**
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Education
+ Associates Degree in Nursing (Nursing Diploma or by endorsement) required
+ BSN, preferred
Licensure
+ RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required
+ Nursing Specialty Certification, preferred
Experience
+ Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
Physical Requirements
+ Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

**Pay Range**
$36.22 - $57.78 /hour
