RN Clinic Location : Pinellas Requirement: 1+ year clinic experience Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4:30pm Benefits: Weekly pay, health, vision, dental, 401(k) Amergis Staffing is currently hiring Registered Nurses (RN). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Like occupational clinic but does have some aspects of behavioral health as they offer addiction counseling which the nurses sometimes support. + Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates. + Prepares medications and paperwork for trainees to take medication in dorms after clinic hours. + Administers specified medication and annotates time and amount on patient’s chart. + Responds to trainee medical emergencies and mental health crises + Assembles and uses various medical equipment. + Responsible for ensuring high sanitary conditions. + Assists in physicals of all new trainees. + Maintains charts for trainees seen by medical personnel. + Attends required staff training sessions. + Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills including personal responsibility and computer fluency. + Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property, adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility. + Cultivates and maintains a climate on center that is free of harassment, intimidation, and disrespect to provide a safe place for staff and students to work and learn. + Performs other duties as assigned.
