The RN (Cath Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab) specializes in workingwith patients undergoing cardiac procedures in a catheterization lab. During cardiac catheterizations, thesespecially trained nurses assist the medical team by monitoring the patient’svitals, assisting with procedural sedatives, assisting doctors, technicians,nurses and the patients.

Minimum Requirements:

Registered Nurse with a current state license where theywill be working ACLS may be required by state/client contract Minimum of 2 years critical care or Cardiac Cath Labexperience preferred Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age
General Comments: Applicants MUST have a valid California state Fluoro license.(CV Rad TECH) The nurses do not need a fluoro license (only the Rad Techs). Day Shift/We are on 4×10’s and the call burden is 15 days a month. The nurses do not need a Fluoro license (only the Rad Techs).

Travel Pay: Pay (Regular) Pay (Overtime) Meals Housing Bonus Gross Pay $47.00 $70.50 $476 $770 $0 $3,126.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required

Department Specific License/Certifications:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or HealthStream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) or RQIACLS: Required

Essential Functions:

Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient?s health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient’s situation. Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients/family members and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team. Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
