Position Overview:

As a Cath Lab RN, you’ll play a vital role in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, delivering direct patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. This role demands strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab and other procedural areas.Perform as scrub tech, circulator, and hemodynamic monitor.Monitor patients under conscious sedation and manage IV therapy.Respond to cardiac emergencies using BLS/ACLS protocols.Educate patients and families, and document care thoroughly.Maintain equipment, supplies, and regulatory standards.Support quality improvement and mentor new team members.

Qualifications:

Associate degree required; BSN preferred.Current Iowa RN license.BLS, ACLS, Mandatory Reporter certification.2+ years Cath Lab or 3+ years critical care experience preferred.Strong cardiac care knowledge, including EKG interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring.Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
