Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Sioux City, IA
Facility: UnityPoint – St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: January 5, 2026
Shift: Days, Monday–Friday
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to assist with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. This role involves monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and supporting the medical team during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities
+ Administer medications and monitor patient sedation levels.
+ Circulate and scrub during cardiac catheterization and EP procedures.
+ Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
+ Perform pre- and post-procedure patient assessments.
+ Provide discharge teaching to patients and families.
+ Ensure accurate consent documentation and compliance with protocols.
+ Monitor for signs of infection or complications.
Requirements
+ Current RN license
+ Minimum 2 years Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred.
+ Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
+ Health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable).
+ Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
+ EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Additional Details
+ Hourly Rate: $50/hr.
+ OT Rate: $75
+ Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major winter holidays.
+ Floating: May be required within discipline across campuses.
