Weston Hospital's Cardiac Cath Lab cares for cardiac patients on both an elective and emergent basis who are having/have had a heart transplant or have been diagnosed with a myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, valvular heart disease or peripheral vascular disease. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing + Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) + Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) + One year of current acute care RN experience.
