Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer._ **Responsibilities** Creates and implements Utilization Management standard operating procedures for the Behavioral Health service line. + Supports standardization of Behavioral Health utilization management activities. + Serves as the national-level subject matter expert in Utilization Management for the service line. + Identifies opportunities to reduce denials and improve documentation to support medical necessity. + Builds relationships with payers and advocates for appropriate reimbursement for services provided. + Implements tactics to support strategic goals. + Develop strategic goals and identify tactics to support. utilization management operations in the markets and ministries. + Provide support to markets in creating, implementing, and monitoring of standard operating procedures and policies. + Assist in the creation of onboarding, training, and annual education programs. + Drive and enhance operational improvements to meet the needs of markets and ministries. + Create alignment between and build relationships with revenue cycle, denial prevention, physician advisor programs, managed care, payers, and other internal and external business partners. **Requirements** Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): + Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Preferred Credential(s): + Certified InterQual Instructor (IQCI) credentialed from Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC). + Certified Accountant. + Certified Case Manager. + Certification specializing in Six Sigma Green Belt. Education: + Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
