Our Pediatric Specialty Care Clinic in Helena, MT, is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to support our GI, Allergy, and other specialty providers. The RN Outpatient position is vital in ensuring our young patients and their families receive the best possible care in a welcoming and supportive environment.
What you'll be doing:
Rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and ensuring a smooth clinical experience.
Provide patient education for procedures, medication, injections, and bowel regimens
Support with prior authorizations, referrals, and insurance approvals
Complex care management and navigation, as well as assisting with procedure scheduling and coordination with other specialties
Triage incoming patient calls, assessing patient needs and coordinating appropriate care and follow-up.
Assist with NG tube re-placements, medication injections, and related training
Administer allergy shots and manage reactions to these shots as well as reactions associated with food challenges
Working closely with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to enhance patient care and clinic efficiency.

Who you are:
A compassionate nurse who loves to work with pediatric patients.
An experienced RN with strong clinical skills
Independent, confident, and capable of problem-solving
Comfortable working in a flexible, team-based environment
It's a plus if you have experience working in a clinic setting, have prior GI experience, or have worked with pediatric patients
What you'll need to have:
Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
BSN degree preferred.
Current HCP CPR certification required.
Minimum of two (2) years’ nursing experience preferred.
Current ACLS and PALS certification may be required in certain departments and successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire.

Shift:
Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)Schedule: Full-time, 32 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts. This postion will work four days per week. No weekends, no holidays
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
