Family Medicine at East Portland clinic is a primary care Family Medicine clinic and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The patient population includes all ages of the life spectrum including pregnant people, babies, children, adolescent, adults, and geriatric. The patients are generally moderately stable to moderately unstable, with or without complex acute or chronic illnesses and diseases, and SDOH barriers that require medical and nursing interventions.
Function/Duties of PositionThis role will focus primarily on telephone triage and advice, while also responding to patients’ urgent needs in clinic or telephonically. As the clinic grows, RN roles and responsibilities will expand, within the scope of your Nursing licensure. RN’s will be working in conjunction with a care team of providers and clinicians. You will have the exciting opportunity to be a part of a newly opened clinic, as of March of 2024. As such, patient volume and clinic operations will take time to grow and expand, so flexibility and a nimble attitude are key.
