Risked Based Inspection Engineer
Join our dynamic team as a Risk Based Inspection Engineer and play a pivotal role in enhancing safety and efficiency in the Oil and Gas industry. This full-time contract position offers you the opportunity to work on multi-projects in a collaborative environment, ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of integrity and inspection.
Role Overview Prepare Corrosion Loop Reports to assess and manage corrosion risks. Collect information from various project documents (Equipment List, Mechanical Data sheet, Line list, etc.) to prepare RBI system upload data files. Liaise with Process, HSE, and Operation & Maintenance teams to identify deterioration mechanisms and establish inspection policies, plans, and actions. Prepare studies in accordance with the selected RBI software. Develop comprehensive inspection plans. Produce quality deliverables ensuring data accuracy and logical documentation of assumptions. Report weekly on activities performed to the RBI Lead on the assigned project. Skills & Qualifications Inspection: Proficient in conducting inspections and assessments. Fluent in English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Codes & Standards: Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards related to RBI methodology (API 580/581). RBI Software: Familiarity with RBI software such as Meridium is a plus. Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively. Education & Experience MSc Degree in Process Engineering, Materials/Metallurgy/Corrosion Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology. Familiarity with documentation developed on EPC Projects (PDS, MDS, GAD, P&IDs, Line Lists, Piping isometrics, etc.). Pay & Benefits Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
