Risk Specialist, CDI Reg Strat, GOSS Compliance and Data Integrity
Amazon.com
Join the Regulatory Strategy & Policy Engagement (RSPE) team and help turn complex regulatory requirements into scalable operational reality across Amazon's global infrastructure. You'll be at the center of compliance execution—building the mechanisms, workflows, and tools that make regulatory adherence clear, consistent, and enforceable across the organization.
The RSPE team within Compliance & Data Integrity (CDI) is building the operational backbone that translates regulatory signals into action. This role is execution-focused: you'll support the day-to-day systems that track regulatory requirements, manage policy lifecycles, and create the centralized views that keep teams aligned and compliant. If you thrive on bringing structure to ambiguity and turning "what should we do" into "here's exactly how it works," this role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on how Amazon scales compliance across its infrastructure portfolio.
Key job responsibilities
Support maintenance and operation of regulatory intake and tracking mechanisms, ensuring requirements are captured, visible, and actionable across teams
Assist with policy lifecycle management from intake through approval to adoption, helping ensure consistent processes and documentation
Help build and maintain standardized compliance workflows, governance frameworks, and operational tools that teams use daily
Collaborate with Legal, Public Policy, Compliance Ops, and Tech partners to support implementation of regulatory requirements into systems and delivery processes
Maintain centralized dashboards, trackers, and repositories that serve as the shared source of truth for compliance status and requirements
Support efforts to eliminate fragmented or duplicative compliance activities by creating consistent, scalable operational mechanisms
Execute on compliance projects with guidance from senior team members, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and timelines
A day in the life
On a typical day, you'll be working across multiple compliance workstreams—updating regulatory trackers as new requirements come in and coordinating with Legal and Policy teams to clarify implementation details.
Your customers are the infrastructure and operations teams across Amazon who need clear, actionable guidance on what compliance means for their day-to-day work.
The problems you'll solve are fundamentally about clarity and scale. You'll be the person who builds and maintains the mechanisms that answer these questions.
About the team

The Regulatory Strategy & Policy Engagement function enables CDI to shift from reacting to regulation to shaping and anticipating it across 200+ jurisdictions and 50+ regulatory frameworks. This function is external-facing, forward-looking, and influence-driven, requiring depth of expertise and credibility with regulators.
