Risk & Resiliency Analyst
Description Our client is looking for a junior-level talent to be a part of their Technology Risk Organization Rising Talent program across it's enterprise. These analysts will be working through an immersive training program for 13 weeks and then transition into the Risk organization within the bank. This is the perfect opportunity for candidates that are looking to get their foot in the door at a fantastic company! Must work on a W2 and must already be local to Pittsburgh. • Explain the principles of risk, control, compliance, resiliency, and recovery in IT environments, including their interrelations • Apply foundational concepts from ISACA (risk track) or DRI International (resiliency track) frameworks to real-world scenarios • Identify, classify, assess, report on, and respond to technology risks or resiliency issues • Develop SOPs, mitigation strategies, recovery plans, and continuity frameworks to reduce operational risks and enhance resilience. • Analyze workflows, interdependencies, dependencies, and enablers in IT systems. • Communicate risks or resiliency concerns clearly to technical and executive audiences. • Design and evaluate testing exercises, crisis responses, and maturity assessments (resiliency track) or perform risk assessments and governance reporting (risk track) • Demonstrate readiness for entry-level roles in risk, compliance, or resiliency management. • Prepare to pass the ISACA IT Risk Fundamentals Certificate exam (risk track) or DRI International certification exams (resiliency track) am. • Familiarity with systems and network terminology • Experience working in or alongside IT teams • Analytical aptitude (demonstrated by case study assessment, references, past experience) • Technical aptitude and desire to learn new things (demonstrated by references, past experience) • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Ability to multitask and high attention to detail • Demonstrated leadership skills (Examples of where they’ve taken things on, led a project, etc.) • Demonstrated level of business acumen, aptitude, and willingness to learn • Ability to be receptive and receive feedback and put into action • Demonstrate ability to apply skills and tools learned in a timely fashion • Driven, motivated and wanting to excel in one’s career and become part of the IT industry • Ability to solve complex problems and outline solutions and collaborate effectively (examples where they have accomplished) • Experience using Microsoft suite of products and experience working in a professional setting in some capacity in a related field • Computer Science, MIS, Business Management, or Business Administration degrees, are highly considered. Resources will also be screened and identified for those who have the aptitude and desire to work as an IT Risk & Resiliency Analyst. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
