Wood Transmission and Distribution are recruiting for a Risk Manager based in Inverness, Scotland, supporting several major electricity transmission schemes. The Risk Manager will be responsible for SME leadership and support of delivery of project risk activities across the Projects Business Unit. This is full time, permanent role with an emphasis on site based presence in Inverness, Scotland.
The high-level objectives of this role are as follows:
Focal point and subject matter expert (SME) for project risk and contingency management. Interface with Project Delivery BG leaders to ensure risk and contingency management practices are adhered to as SME. Provide independent facilitation of risk workshops on selected projects where required. Execute independent QRA risk analysis on selected projects where required. Develop and maintain project risk and contingency management procedures, processes, and tools at the BU management system level to drive consistent delivery execution. Lead and support training, development and competency of risk management resources. Assurance of risk activities on projects. Involvement in tender review process where necessary. Project Delivery interface with; Group Risk Manager to ensure alignment.
