The Department of Administration is looking for a Research Analyst to join the Risk Management Department , a team of professionals dedicated to protecting the state’s assets and reducing the risk of loss. Example of Duties: + Analyze property, casualty, and workers’ compensation exposures to inform insurance coverage decisions. + Review policies, billing, and endorsements for accuracy and compliance; resolve discrepancies with brokers and carriers. + Collect, validate, and analyze underwriting and survey data to support insurance and labor market evaluations. + Prepare technical reports and summaries using compiled data to support risk management decisions. + Develop internal procedures for data collection and maintain accurate records of coverage in force. + Provide analytical support and guidance to state agencies regarding insurance coverage, reporting requirements, and data needs. + Prepare and provide certificates of insurance to agencies. * Minimum Qualifications: You must possess all the minimum qualifications below . Good knowledge of: + Research methods. + Principles of statistics. Experience: + Writing analytical (research) reports or materials.
