Risk Management Manager – Risk Management - Full Time Days

Department: Risk Management  Schedule: Full Time Days   Hospital: Henry Ford Health (East Region) 

GENERAL SUMMARY

Manages risk management activities. Develops, implements and evaluates practices and policies. Collects and analyzes data to identify potential or actual sources of risk to patients, associates, and their environment. Collaborates with staff, medical staff, leadership, quality and other committee members with respect to risk-related incidents, policies and practices. Develops or facilitates safety, risk and quality care initiatives. Manages activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.

Education/Experience Requirements 

Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience and/or 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
