Risk Management- Data Management Senior Associate

As a Senior Associate in the Risk Management and Compliance Chief Data Office, you play a key role in supporting our data governance journey. You work closely with global teams and stakeholders to implement effective data risk management processes. You help us meet regulatory requirements and drive value for our Consumer and Community Banking Risk business. Together, we simplify complex data challenges and deliver solutions that keep our organization strong.

 

Job ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation of data risk management objectives for the Risk Management and Compliance teamAssist with data classification, usage, protection, storage, metadata, lineage, and quality initiativesOrganize and simplify complex data requirements into actionable stepsContribute to governance and oversight processes to ensure complianceCommunicate regularly with stakeholders across global teamsAnalyze business goals and requirements to assess options and risksDevelop and implement effective data governance solutionsEnsure adherence to firmwide data management policies and standardsCollaborate with colleagues to achieve team and organizational goalsMaintain accurate documentation of data governance activitiesIdentify opportunities to improve data management practicesRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsBachelor’s degreeThree years of experience in data management or data governanceStrong analytical skills and attention to detailClear written and verbal communication skillsAbility to organize and manage multiple tasksExperience supporting data governance or risk management initiativesDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentWillingness to learn new concepts and adapt quicklyProficiency in documenting processes and requirementsAbility to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholdersCommitment to maintaining high standards of data quality and compliance

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsBachelor’s degree in a science-related fieldExperience working in financial services or risk managementFamiliarity with data protection and regulatory requirementsKnowledge of metadata management and data lineage toolsExperience with data classification and quality improvement initiativesAbility to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiencesProactive approach to identifying and solving data management challenges
