**Job Summary**
The Regional Patient Relations Risk Management Coordinator will act as a management representative. They will use initiative and judgment to address client problems or complaints promptly, courteously, and appropriately. If unable or unqualified to assist, they will refer to the appropriate party or department and follow up to ensure resolution. The Coordinator will work with the System Director of Patient Relations, Region Vice President of Legal Counsel, Region CEO, Senior VP of Legal Counsel, and System Director of Risk Management. They will develop and implement activities and policies to promote consistency in solving patient issues and decrease risk to the Scott & White Healthcare System. Additionally, the Coordinator will arrange appointments, meetings, seminars, educational programs, and conferences between the region and the System Risk Management Department.
The ideal Regional Patient Relations Risk Management Coordinator candidate has three years of relevant experience and paralegal training or a clinical background.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
+ EXPERIENCE - 1 Year of Experience
