Risk Management and Supply Chain Readiness Lead
Job Description

Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as onsite. this means the successful candidate to report to the GM office full time.

The Role:

The Risk Management and SC Readiness Lead is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating supply chain risks while ensuring operational readiness for new product introductions, major changes, and business continuity. This role partners cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, quality, manufacturing, and commercial teams to drive strategic risk mitigation and readiness plans across the end-to-end supply chain

What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Drive key deliverables supporting global supply chain goals in quality, service, cost, and responsiveness.

Lead operational areas to meet our business objectives.

Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and Procurement to resolve complex SC challenges and ensure timely communication across stakeholders.

Manage relationships with local suppliers and support supply continuity.

Risk Mitigation & Readiness Planning

Lead monthly risk reviews and mitigation planning with Supply & production Planning Team.

Assess supplier schedules and capacity to proactively address risks.

Track supplier performance, identify critical issues, and report resolutions to leadership.

New Program & Launch Support

Coordinate new project implementation, including MRP setup, pilot builds, and packaging readiness.

Ensure commodity and supplier readiness aligned with LPET and PPAP requirements.

Conduct supplier onboarding sessions and launch workshops.

Planning & Execution

Ensure supplier capacity supports ramp-up and future production.

Oversee material pipeline from import/local suppliers for uninterrupted production.

Daily Operations & Issue Management

Support MRDs, SORP, line trials, and breakpoints for new components.

Coordinate B/P implementation to align with GME targets.

Reporting & Supplier Engagement

Lead high-risk reviews and escalate capacity/material issues.

Participate in technical and supplier readiness meetings.

Visit suppliers regularly to drive performance and alignment.

Data Analysis & Forecasting

Analyze forecasts, inventory, and pipeline vs. production needs.

Identify risks of shortages 2+ months ahead.



Additional Job Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant supply chain, project management, and manufacturing process experience.

Able to balance strategic risk thinking with hands-on operational & Supply chain execution.

Ability to travel to suppliers' locations when required for onsite support of launch and build-out.

Ability to problem tackle complete issues and implement new and innovative strategies.

Deep understanding of Supply Chain functions.

Flexible with extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
