Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Risk Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across various projects and operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our organization's activities.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze potential hazards in industrial and construction environmentsDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential losses and enhance safetyPerform on-site inspections and audits to evaluate compliance with safety standards and regulationsCreate detailed technical reports and present findings to management and stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management practices into project planning and executionUtilize risk assessment software and data analysis tools to identify trends and patterns in risk dataStay up-to-date with industry standards, local and international safety codes, and best practices in risk engineeringProvide expert advice and recommendations to improve safety management systems and processesParticipate in project management activities related to risk control and loss preventionContribute to the development and delivery of risk management training programs for employeesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field)Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk engineering or a related fieldProven expertise in risk assessment, hazard identification, and safety management systemsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insightsProficiency in risk assessment software and data analysis toolsExcellent technical report writing and presentation skillsExperience in industrial or construction risk assessmentKnowledge of industry standards, regulations, and risk transfer mechanismsFamiliarity with local and international safety codes and standardsStrong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyProfessional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Risk Manager (CRM) preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsDetail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all tasksWillingness to travel for on-site inspections and audits as requiredAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
