Job Description Summary:
The Risk Claims Consultant is an integral part of the Risk Management Claims Team participating in management and resolution of claims for all lines of coverage in The Coca-Cola Company’s insurance program including Property & Casualty (P&C), Workers’ Compensation, and Financial Products (EPL, D&O etc.) This role will operate within a multi-functional team focusing on insurance procurement, claims and litigation management, data management and governance. This individual will work closely with various internal stakeholders, as well as external partners and vendors.
What You’ll Do for Us: Manage Insurance Claim ProcessConduct initial analysis to determine applicable coverage line and ensure timely reporting of claims to third party administrators (TPAs) and insurance carriersActively participate in all aspects of day-to-day claim administration including but not limited to evaluation of liability, indemnification, and overall claim resolution strategyHandle and track claim tenders to/from bottling partnersDrive investigative process by identifying key internal personnel and gathering relevant documentationCoordinate as needed with TPA, Legal department and outside counsel on matters pertaining to litigationEnsure accuracy of data in RMIS databases and utilize systems to perform analysis of claim trends in frequency, severity, and causeParticipate in claim reviews and auditsProcess and track incoming/outgoing payments and ensure adequacy of financial reserves for compliance with internal controlsOther/MiscellaneousMonitor correspondence in claim department inbox and action accordinglyProvide claim-related support for the insurance renewal processCoordinate internal training and assist as needed with continuous process-improvement effortsPosition Details: Hybrid work schedule - 3 days per week in person and 2 days virtualIndividual contributor role - no direct reportsLocation: Atlanta, Georgia Qualification & Requirements: 3+ years' experience handling insurance claims for an insurance carrier/TPA or within a corporate Risk Management departmentExperience in multiple coverage lines is preferred with a strong background in Property & Casualty and/or Workers’ CompensationBachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration or related fieldParalegal certification with law firm experience will also be consideredProficiency in Microsoft Office is required and prior RMIS database experience is preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsWhat We Can Do for You: Purpose Driven: Purpose driven approach that empowers our people to protect the environment and communities we serve while delivering safe & quality products. $87,000 - $102,000Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
