Vacancy Overview Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Specialist – Quintana, TX
Our client is seeking a Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Specialist to work within their facilities located in Quintana, TX, for an initial one-year assignment.
The ideal candidate will specialize in Risk Based Inspection using the GE APM/Meridium software tool. This role is vital for identifying potential risks, optimizing inspection strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Job Responsibilities: Perform risk assessments, update inspection plans, and evergreen RBI analyses for static equipment including pressure vessels, piping, and tanks. Perform QA/QC of RBI project deliverables. Think critically and troubleshoot issues that arise during RBI evergreening activities. Stay updated with advancements in RBI methodologies and industry practices. Develop detailed work processes and training related to inspections and RBI software. Support with verification efforts of RBI data quality and assumptions. Collaborate with engineering disciplines, operations personnel, and management. Qualifications: In-depth experience with API inspection codes, including API 510, API 570, and API 653. Detail-oriented, strong communication skills, collaborative, creative. Strong understanding of the concepts of probability and consequence, and how they affect risk levels of equipment. Proficiency in GE APM software tool. Familiarity with Risk Based Inspection (RBI) and damage mechanism reviews. Education/Experience: 5+ years of experience in pressure vessel/piping/tank inspection and risk-based inspection. Valid/Current TWIC Required. API Inspector Certification.
