The Risk division is responsible for credit, market and operational risk, model risk, independent liquidity risk, and insurance throughout the firm.

Risk division develops comprehensive processes to monitor, assess, and manage the risk of expected and unexpected events that may have an adverse financial impact on the firm. Capital Risk Applications team builds top-class engineering solutions for critical functions, including computing the firm’s ongoing and stressed capital requirements. We work on a daily basis with requests from global regulators, and central banks. 

We are looking for passionate engineers with strong programming skills who are willing to work with challenging use cases, in a fast-paced environment. We need interdisciplinary people who like exploring brand new fields and using various new and proprietary technologies.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM / technical discipline, or equivalent experience1-3 years of experience in software development, including a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming conceptsAbility to multi-task, and managing multiple internal/external stakeholders whilst working as part of a teamStrong problem solving and analytical skills

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

Programming experience with at least one imperative language (e.g. Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript)Understanding of Linux, SQL and version control systemsExperience with building complex / distributed applications Interest in test automation, debugging, software optimization and refactoringAn interest in Risk Management or in specific OTC derivative products Additional experience in the frontend development (React), is advantageous
