The Rights & Permissions Specialist works with our product and content teams to implement the MH corporate guidelines for clearing third-party permissions for use in McGraw Hill product. They monitor projects to ensure products are developed within the scope of the guidelines and provide updates to product owners throughout project development phase. Candidate will be an effective problem-solver, resolving development roadblocks and maintaining production schedules. They will also assist with rightsholder research and manage correspondence to execute third-party contracts. This is an office position, located in Madrid, and open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within Spain. What you will be doing: Responsible for implementing the McGraw Hill third-party permissions guidelines, policies and practices across all assigned projects Manages end-to-end third-party permissions processes, from the planning and budgeting phase, to post publication Communicates openly and maintains updated schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget Collaborates with the wider COE permissions team for ad-hoc assignments as time permits. This could include special projects or providing the same level of support in other MH regions Main support for Spain product development team – reviewing 100+ projects per year Supporting other regions on an as-needed basis Strong written and verbal English-speaking skills are a must, attention to detail, works well under pressure Project management We are looking for someone with… Bachelor’s degree required English/Spanish speaking skills, attention to detail, works well under pressure Three years of project management, permissions acquisition or contract management experience Proficient use of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word Why work for us?
