Lead worker over a team of Right of Way Agents 1-4, Local Public Agencies (LPA), and/or consultant personnel as needed for the proper functioning of the Right of Way Relocation Assistance and Advisory Services Program. Statewide travel is required. While in official capacity, DOTD employees must comply with applicable Louisiana and Civil Service Laws, rules, and regulations, as well as DOTD policies, procedures, manuals, and directives. Minimum Qualifications APPRAISER OPTION: Possession of a current Louisiana Certified General Appraiser license plus one year of experience as a licensed General Appraiser. AGENT OPTION: Seven years of experience in property rights acquisition, real estate acquisition, real estate property management, relocation assistance, or real estate appraisal; OR Six years of full-time experience in any field plus four years of experience in property rights acquisition, real estate acquisition, real estate property management, relocation assistance, or real estate appraisal; OR A bachelor's degree plus four years of experience in property rights acquisition, real estate acquisition, real estate property management, relocation assistance, or real estate appraisal. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION (AGENT OPTION ONLY): Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: • Assists in the direction and management of the statewide Right of Way Relocation Assistance and Advisory Services program, as required by the federal Uniform Relocation Act (URA) • Provides supervision and operational management of all relocation activities • Assist in the management of the statewide Right of Way Relocation Assistance and Advisory Services program • Ensures DOTD Relocations Assistance Program complies with all Federal, State, Local, and DOTD laws and regulations • Provides technical guidance to entities who must relocate persons or businesses under the provisions of the Uniform Relocation Assistance Act • Develops, maintains and administers a Quality Assurance and Quality Control program to be applied in all phases of the Department’s Relocation Assistance and Advisory Services Program for all projects included those managed by DOTD staff, Local Public Agencies, and those projects managed by consultants Position-Specific Details: This is a statewide position.
