RF Test Engineering Assistant - Weekend Night Shift
**Job Description** **Please note this position supports our Weekend Night Shift working Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 3:00PM to 3:00AM. You will work 36 Hours and be paid for 40 Hours plus earn a 15% pay premium.** Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Our employees work on the world s most advanced electronics. Come build your career with BAE Systems. The EA will be responsible for performing routine and varied tasks to ensure that production standards are met. Sets up, calibrates, tests and troubleshoots production assemblies. Projects may range from simple to complex. Provides quality and/or technical support to engineers on a variety of quality and technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and proposed engineering design changes as well as qualitative and quantitative data to assure that design is effectively translated to respective process planning artifacts in support of manufacturing builds assuring quality products are effectively tested, inspected and delivered to our customers. Produces various engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations, where appropriate, using established formulas: preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency: and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Typically a High School Diploma or GED and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience - Test electronic and electro-mechanical units using standard and RF test equipment. Analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment. - Follows complex test specifications, test procedures and verbal instructions in order to perform a variety of routine standard tests. - Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings diagrams, hardware specifications, schematics, or written work instructions. - Working knowledge of electronic theory and components - Ability to troubleshoot and analyze failures using electronic test equipment and software. Diagnoses minor deficiencies in equipment and recommends rework where necessary. - Experience in microelectronics and RF testing. - Prior test experience. - Prior DoD/Aerospace Testing Experience. - Must work well with a team. - Experience in using Excel. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Secret Security Clearance **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $74508 - $119213 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
