Job Description
We are seeking an RF technician who possesses either experience or strong potential to grow into a supervisory role, overseeing a small team of hands-on RF technicians and assemblers.
ResponsibilitiesPerform high complexity RF testing activities in the MHz to GHz range.Conduct automated system level calibration and tests using Windows OS.Report to Operations Supervisor for daily and weekly tasks.Manage document control of test data.Troubleshoot RF assemblies to component level.Fill out Test Data Records for system level tests.Install software and configure Windows based systems.Tune component values to achieve optimal amplifier performance.Essential SkillsProficiency in using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, frequency counters, network analyzers, and power meters.Strong understanding of RF circuitry, such as amplifiers, mixers, couplers.Knowledge of RF principles including insertion loss, return loss, phase noise, noise figure, AM/FM and PM modulation, gain.Ability to troubleshoot DC and analog circuitry to component level.Experience with Windows OS and MS Office suite.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate’s degree in Engineering or technical certificate in electronics with 5+ years of experience in an electronics environment and background in RF systems.Active clearance, with consideration for candidates with recently expired clearances.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
