Job Summary:
Leidos is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in both Linux and Windows environments, deep familiarity with RF systems, and a strong background in FORNSAT operations. This individual will provide end-to-end systems engineering support across the project lifecycle—from concept to deployment—with a focus on secure, resilient, and mission-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Support full lifecycle systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, design, integration, verification, and validationProvide expertise across both Linux and Windows platforms, ensuring compatibility and securityDesign, test, and optimize RF systems, antennas, and signal pathsApply FORNSAT knowledge to support signal collection and analysis initiativesCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including software developers, analysts, and field engineersDevelop and maintain system documentation, diagrams, and configuration management artifacts, while supporting mission operations and resolve technical issues in real timeQualifications:
Seven (7) years of experience as a System Engineer in Contracts and Programs of similar scope, type and complexity is required.Bachelor’s degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with PolyAt Leidos, the opportunities are boundless.
