Job Title: RF Engineering TechnicianJob Description
As an RF Engineering Technician, you will support the engineering and research and development processes by testing and diagnosing prototypes. You will apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, usually under the direction of engineering staff, to design, build, repair, calibrate, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering decisions.
Responsibilities
+ Support the Manufacturing Department.
+ Evaluate findings to develop new concepts, products, equipment, or processes.
+ Build prototypes, collect data, and manage tasks as required.
+ Create sketches and write reports in a timely manner.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by engineering staff.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in RF equipment and testing.
+ Experience in electronics and engineering quality.
+ Ability to work with prototypes and a network analyzer.
+ Expertise in electronics testing, filter tuning, and RF tuning.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies trained and certified IPC Specialist.
+ Experience in the assembly, tuning, and testing of Sensus Combiners.
+ Experience in the assembly, tuning, and testing of Power Monitors.
+ An Associate degree is preferred.
Work Environment
Join a dedicated team within a 50-person manufacturing company where you will work closely with engineering staff. The environment is centered around collaboration and hands-on engineering work.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
