We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented RF Engineering Technician to support our engineering and R&D teams in the development, testing, and refinement of RF prototypes and systems. In this hands-on role, you will apply your knowledge of electrical and electronic theory to assist in the design, assembly, calibration, and troubleshooting of RF components and systems. You’ll play a key role in ensuring product quality and performance throughout the development lifecycle.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Manufacturing and Engineering departments in the development and testing of RF systems.Assemble, test, and troubleshoot RF prototypes and components, including filters, combiners, and power monitors.Operate and maintain RF test equipment, including network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.Collect and analyze test data to support engineering decisions and product improvements.Create technical sketches, documentation, and reports in a timely and organized manner.Assist in the calibration and tuning of RF circuits and systems.Contribute to the development of new products, processes, and testing methodologies.Perform additional tasks as assigned by engineering staff.Core CompetenciesProficiency in RF testing and measurement techniques.Strong background in electronics, including circuit assembly and diagnostics.Experience working with prototypes and RF tuning equipment.Familiarity with filter tuning, impedance matching, and signal integrity.Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.Preferred QualificationsIPC-A-610 Certified IPC Specialist (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies).Hands-on experience with Sensus Combiners and Power Monitors.Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree a plus).Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Work EnvironmentJoin a collaborative and innovative team within a 50-person manufacturing company. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
