RF Engineer SME Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * **The Opportunity:** This specialized position works as part of a small collaborative multidisciplined team that provides niche project management, administrative and technical subject matter expertise in the field of article one RF engineering design, development, integration, and implementation of special off enterprise communications systems. This position is the singleton engineering solutions SME and integrator for the Group and provides critical strategic and tactical technical guidance, methodologies and insight related to secure RF communications and engineering challenges specific to field unique IT. Work involves developing/integrating next generation solutions, solving mission impacting technical challenges, and supporting end-to-end special requirements projects. Qualifications: Individual must possess deep technical knowledge and acumen in the field of RF, tactical communications and adjacent fields of expertise. Individual must be familiar with Customer field environment Individual must have experience performing hands-on technical systems integration. Individual must have experience authoring technical documentation, CONOPS, white papers and SOPs Individual must have experience identifying, developing and cultivating strategic vendor relationships. Individual must have experience leading/participating in TEMs, executive level briefings. Must have 16+ or more years Professional Experience with a Bachelor's Degree (Equivalent Experience may be Substituted for Educational Requirement) Weapons Certification is not required for hire, but must be willing and capable of becoming certified. TS/SCI with poly required.
