Job Description
This exciting role involves a dynamic blend of new product design and development along with modifications to existing designs within the Advanced Systems product line. The position requires expertise in SATCOM, RADAR, RF Communication, and Test/Development Platforms for RF or Satellite Communication environments. The successful candidate will work on a tightly integrated team developing high specification, ruggedized products for defense applications, focusing on complex functionalities and challenging requirements such as broadband and low phase noise. Additionally, our RF Front End product line includes Microwave Photonic devices, allowing the opportunity to engage in pure RF line of sight communications and analog signal processing.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and testing of complex RF circuits and subsystems, including up/down converters, power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, filters, and other RF Front End components.Contribute to system-level architecture decisions, ensuring optimal performance from the antenna through the digitizer.Develop RF system block diagrams, schematics, and simulations to validate design concepts.Oversee prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting of RF hardware.Essential Skills
Expertise in RF design and RF systems.Proficiency with ADS, HFSS, CST Microwave Studio.Experience using spectrum analyzers and signal generators.Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 standards.Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in RF circuit and product design.Demonstrated expertise with RF Front Ends (antenna through digitizer).Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with RF testing methodologies.Open to candidates with satellite communication profiles.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $86.50/hr.
