Job Description
The RF Antenna Engineer will collaborate with Electrical Design Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers, and Drafters to develop and support aviation antennas. The role requires a deep understanding of antenna design and RF circuit design, with a focus on innovation and quality.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, model, simulate, prototype, and test aviation antennas operating in frequencies from VHF to Ku-band, including patch, slot, conformal antennas, and antenna arrays.Design, simulate, prototype, and test RF circuits and subsystems such as antennas, LNA, power amplifiers, filters, and combiners within the VHF to Ku-band frequency range.Perform RF 3D modeling, circuit layout, and drafting.Conduct circuit analysis using computer-aided tools.Adapt to additional responsibilities as necessary.Essential SkillsProficiency in RF design, including simulation and knowledge of RF components.Expertise in electromagnetic wave knowledge (EMW) and EM simulation.Strong foundation in antenna design theory and fundamentals.Experience with EM simulation tools, such as ANSYS HFSS.Theoretical and practical knowledge of RF/Microwave passive and active components.Proficient with RF/Microwave laboratory test equipment like network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.Ability to solder and construct circuits.Strong analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Physics.Experience in the design and testing of antennas and RF/Microwave components or subsystems.Working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines.Ability to work independently and collaborate with various levels of staff and management.Strong attention to detail.Punctuality and reliability.Experience working in a manufacturing environment.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
