Requisition ID: 75797 Description Skyworks is offering a co-op opportunity at the Irvine Design Center, focusing on the development of advanced RF front-end modules. This role provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, gaining valuable technical knowledge and skills while contributing to the design and optimization of multi-chip modules for the cellular handset market. Responsibilities + Working with experienced engineers to design/develop multi-chip modules + Evaluating and optimizing prototypes of multi-chip modules + Running simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, etc. + Participating and presenting in design reviews + Performing lab testing using standard RF test equipment + Troubleshooting and resolving design or technical issues + Collaborating with other engineers and technicians Required Experience and Skills + Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD program + Strong desire to learn, grow, and make an impact + Strong career interest in RF/microwave circuits and engineering + Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others + Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook + Experience with Ansys HFSS and Keysight ADS is highly preferred + Experience with Layout design tools + Hands-on experience in a lab using a network analyzer and other RF instruments is highly preferred + Strong background in circuit theory + Knowledge of transmission-line theory Desired Experience and Skills + Experience with Ansys HFSS + Experience with Keysight ADS + Experience with Layout Design tools + Hands-on experience in a lab using a network analyzer and other RF instruments + Knowledge of transmission-line theory and circuit design Term: Winter/Spring Co-Op (Jan '26- June '26) #LI-DJ1 The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
