Position Summary:
The Review Physician works in close collaboration with Clinical Services Department staff and is responsible for review of all applicable Clinical Assessment, Clinical Re-assessment, and additional assessment services when indicated.
What You'll Do:
Reviews documentation associated with clinical assessment or reassessment immediately following the conclusion of assessments to determine and/or confirm FCOCreate review reports based on findingsPerform a comprehensive review of systemsConduct assessment review when:FCO cannot be determined on the basis of the Clinical Assessment or Clinical re- assessment;Participant disagrees with their FCO determination; andParticipant provides new documentationCreate participant-specific report(s) listed below after conducting an assessment, re-assessment, review and/or medical evaluationsCompletes computer-based Wellness Plan reviews for participants who have updated medical documents from outside treating providersProvides direct input on medical education and training priority areas for health care personnelIdentify operational issues and facilitate corresponding process improvements in close collaboration with Fedcap WeCARE’s Medical Director and Deputy Director of Clinical Services.
You'll be a Great Fit For this Role If:
Minimum 3 years of supervisory and managerial experience.
New York State licensed doctor (MD) with training in internal medicine, family practice, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or in other medical disciplines as designated by HRA who reviews the Clinical Assessments/Clinical Reassessments immediately following their completion when indicated
Experience managing large scale projects and driving change initiatives, including as-is process mapping and the design and rollout of new processes and standard operating procedures.
Compensation
$145,000--$155,000
