Responsibilities Job Title: Reverse Logistics and Hygiene Team Leader Full-time: Darlington Salary: £14:00 per hour plus weekend and BH allowances Shift: 4 on 4 off 06:00-16:30 Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for logistics and a commitment to hygiene? We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Reverse Logistics and Hygiene Team Leader to join our expanding team! Our Darlington DC will be ready to go live soon and we are now looking for a Reverse Logistics Team Leader to join our new team. You can read more about our Darlington DC here. Position Summary: To oversee the work of the Reverse Logistics & Hygiene teams to ensure functional operation and hygiene standards. Support and assist the Reverse Logistics and Hygiene Manager to ensure core operational priorities of the business are completed to a high standard. Responsibilities: You will always ensure a safe working environment for yourself and other staff. You will be required to stand up and take operational control of the department when the manager is absent. You will control the yard operation regarding the reverse logistics, to include the loading of pallets, cardboard, and bun trays. You will be required to unload the barrel trailers. Palletise and reload the full barrels as well as replenishing the empty barrels at the in and out gates ready for distribution by the transport department. You will be involved in ensuring various administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy and legal requirements (such as maintaining waste logs streams, order trailer swaps) You will be responsible for yard hygiene along with other members of the team. You will support the site hygiene team when required. To work in a multi-temperature food storage environment. You will aid the team with the physical on site work within Reverse Logistics. Profile Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes to meet the demands placed on MBUK by our customer. Calm under pressure. Strong H&S awareness. Innovative, forward thinking, able to think ‘outside the box’ and generate new opportunities for improvement. A team player. Attention to detail. Able to work on own initiative and as a team with minimal supervision. Qualifications Technical competencies You need to be computer literate and have a good understanding of Microsoft office.
