Responsibilities Join the Genesis Finance Team as a Non-Government Patient Accounting Analyst where you will play a crucial financial role in minimizing bad debt and maximizing revenue to meet Genesis HealthCare business excellence goals by reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). *Process primary and secondary commercial insurance claims (such as Long Term Insurance, Motor Vehicle, and Workmen's Compensation) and follow-up on any unpaid claims. *Ensure quality bills are produced that meet payor and regulatory requirements. *Document on a daily basis all actions relating to a specific claim *Resolve claim denials Qualifications *Associate's Degree or two (2) or more years in healthcare or long-term care billing and collections. *Experience with healthcare billing software Benefits *Variable compensation plans *Tuition, Travel, and Wireless Service Discounts *Employee Assistance Program to support mental health *Employee Foundation to financially assist through unforeseen hardships *Health, Dental, Vision, Company-paid life insurance, 401K, Paid Time Off We also offer several voluntary insurances such as: *Pet Insurance *Term and Whole Life Insurance *Short-term Disability *Hospital Indemnity *Personal Accident *Critical Illness *Cancer Coverage Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.
