Revenue Manager
Administration

Attend regular meetings and briefings to ensure effective communication between the Revenue Department and other hotel departments.

Alert the General Manager of any potential risks that could result in business or revenue loss due to rate deployment, group blocks, or underperforming events.

Financial

Analyse revenue generation trends and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and maximization.

Develop and implement integrated revenue solutions to drive profitability across all profit centres.

Support monthly and weekly forecasting and re-forecasting for Rooms, and assist in Food Beverage and Events forecasts.

Monitor and manage costs using key performance indicators.

Ensure compliance with company and local policies on record-keeping, reporting, and financial accuracy.

Business Management

Support revenue departments in maximizing yield through data-driven analysis, pricing, and distribution strategies.

Participate actively in the formulation and submission of the Business Plan, Strategic Plan, and monthly re-forecasts.

Assist Division Heads and management with strategic business management through data analysis and reporting.

Conduct in-depth business analysis for each revenue-generating department and provide recommendations on target markets, strategies, and promotional tactics.

Marketing Revenue Optimization

Oversee inventory, forecasting, and rate deployment for FIT and group business to maximize revenue and minimize displacement.

Monitor and provide feedback on the effective use of Hyatt systems, tools, and revenue management procedures.

Ensure data cleanliness, integrity, and accuracy through process re-engineering and employee training.

Provide the Marketing Team with business intelligence from various reporting systems (Cognos, Delphi, PMS, etc.) and secondary resources.

Gather and analyse external market intelligence using competitive benchmarking tools and distribution systems.

Maintain and update customer segmentation strategies to optimize profitability.

Collaborate with Marketing Communications to align promotional activities with customer preferences and market insights.

Provide ROI-driven data and quantitative insights for promotional planning and performance evaluation.

Optimize forecasting and revenue performance using revenue management software (e.g., IDeaS, Delphi).

Monitor competitor pricing, market fluctuations, and adapt hotel pricing strategies accordingly.

Define and manage discounting strategies, product packaging, and promotional campaigns.

Ensure effective distribution channel management aligned with Hyatt’s international distribution strategy.

Monitor Dynamic Pricing Strategies (DPS) and redesign strategies when necessary to maximize sales and profitability.

Support E-commerce and SEO strategies to enhance online visibility and drive direct bookings.
