**Additional Information:** This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, UIODT. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
• Conduct daily supply and demand analysis.
• Manage market analysis and Bench Marketing.
• Create room budgets using the OneYeard system.
• Conduct weekly Sales Strategy meetings generated by the system. This meeting analyzes the hotel's strategy.
• Manage performance indicators.
• Manage reservation configuration.
• Gather information, analyze, and monitor actual sales versus projected sales.
• Identify the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking it down into separate parts.
• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, configure functions, enter data, or process information.
• Generate and provide accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
• Perform sales strategy analysis and refine as appropriate to increase market share for all properties.
• Maintain accurate reservation system information.
• Analyze period-end and other available system data to identify trends, future periods of need, and obstacles to achieving hotel objectives.
• Generate updates on the transient segment for each period.
• Assist with the account diagnostic process and validate findings.
• Update market knowledge and align strategies and approaches accordingly.
• Achieve and exceed objectives, including performance objectives, budget objectives, team objectives, etc.
• Attend meetings to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate, and manage activities and solutions.
• Establish long-term objectives and specify the strategies and actions to achieve them.
• Adopt a predetermined strategy and drive the execution of that strategy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of issues, products, systems, and processes relevant to the job.
• Understand and meet the needs of key stakeholders (owners, corporate, guests, etc.).
• Explore opportunities that generate revenue, create value for guests, and foster innovation; challenge existing processes/systems/products to make improvements.
• Provide functional revenue management expertise to cluster general managers, leadership teams, and market sales leaders.
• Ensure hotel strategies align with brand philosophies and initiatives.
• Ensure sales strategies and rate restrictions are communicated, implemented, and modified as market conditions fluctuate.
• Prepare the sales strategy meeting agenda and supporting documentation.
• Communicate proactively with properties regarding rate restrictions and strategies.
• Manage room inventory to maximize revenue from group rooms.
• Assist the hotel with pricing and provide input on business evaluation recommendations.
• Lead efforts to coordinate strategies across the group's sales offices.
• Support cluster sales initiatives by working with all reservation centers.
• Use the reservation system and demand forecasting systems to determine, implement, and control sales strategies.
• Verify distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy, and competitor positioning.
• Ensure that property diagnostic processes (PDPs) are used to maximize revenue and profit.
• Initiate, implement, and evaluate revenue testing.
• Provide recommendations to improve the effectiveness of revenue management processes.
• Communicate branding initiatives, demand, and market analysis to hotels/clusters/franchise partners/owners.
• Understand and communicate brand value as it relates to franchise partnerships and revenue management opportunities.
• Promote and protect brand value.
Academic Qualifications:
3rd-level degree in Hotel Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related fields, 4th-level degree in Hotel Revenue Management or related fields.
