Role Overview

As a Revenue Analyst, you perform extensive quantitative and qualitative analyses to support the revenue management team and drive improvements to the revenue management processes.  Multiple responsibilities including supporting/managing a portfolio of 10-15 communities, oversight and/or direct ownership of projects that monitoring revenue performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth within various regional portfolios. You will also take the lead on numerous projects and initiatives as Cortland continues to innovate and adapt to changing market conditions. Here are the roles you’ll play:

 

The Revenue Specialist

Utilize data to assess trends and alert leadership of potential risks and opportunitiesSupport revenue team through ownership of administrative and support functions including the generation and management of renewal processSupport revenue growth efforts in alignment with asset strategies through demonstration of strong data and analysis skillsStrengthen your awareness of revenue objectives across the organization through curiosity and strong partnerships Identify and execute actionable revenue improvement initiatives and business strategiesPartner with revenue operations leadership to identify and document needed policies and procedures, ensure complianceSupport revenue management inventory and pricing for a portfolio of 10 to 15 multi-family assets

The Task Manager

Manage RM support ticket systemIdentify and execute actionable revenue improvement initiatives and business strategiesAssist in day-to day projects and assignmentsPrepare reports and briefings as neededPrepare numbers and present your findings to RM teamProvide administrative support and other required assistanceManage and participate in special projects as needed

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in data analysis, economics, or statistics, or equivalent experience required. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.1+ years’ experience in revenue management, data analysis, economics, statistics or related role preferredMulti Family Operations or Financial Management preferredStrong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsCuriosity, adaptability, and an entrepreneurial spiritMeticulous attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced proficiency in ExcelExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently at a fast paceData visualization experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar software preferredSLQ experience preferred About Cortland
