Responsibilities
The Revenue Analyst II is a revenue cycle professional responsible for performing advanced charge reconciliation activities to ensure accurate, complete, and timely capture of clinical charges across assigned service lines. This role functions as a subject‑matter resource for charge capture processes, partners closely with clinical operations and coding teams, revenue integrity teams and supports the identification and correction of systemic issues impacting revenue integrity. The Revenue Analyst II conducts detailed data analysis, resolves complex reconciliation discrepancies, and contributes to process improvement initiatives that optimize revenue performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in economics, mathematics, business administration, accounting, finance, healthcare business related fields or statistics) and 1 year of relevant experience;
OR
High School diploma and 5 years relevant experience.
Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or healthcare business related field preferred.
Coding/Compliance Certification preferred. Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certification Preferred.
Has a highly developed understanding of coding, billing and compliance practices. Has knowledge of revenue recognition systems and practice billing systems. Highly developed investigational skills, shows attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to work independently. Possess initiative, analytical skills, and an ability to operate with a high level of productivity. Demonstrates effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to work in a team environment and develop constructive working relationships with others. Has advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint.
