Description We are looking for a skilled Revenue Analyst to join our team in Ontario, California. In this role, you will oversee revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and accuracy in financial reporting. Responsibilities: • Prepare journal entries and reconcile complex balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Review intercompany transactions and account balances to confirm proper elimination and alignment. • Analyze account data and activities to provide recommendations and validate allocation accuracy. • Examine contracts and draft memorandums in compliance with established accounting guidelines. • Maintain documentation related to internal controls and operational procedures. • Act as a subject matter expert on technical accounting principles, including compliance with GAAP standards such as ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 805. • Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting activities to support business planning. • Collaborate on annual financial statement audits and provide necessary data analysis. • Utilize advanced Excel skills and large-scale ERP systems to streamline processes. • Contribute to special projects and initiatives requiring in-depth financial expertise. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue recognition or related accounting roles. • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, including ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 805. • Proven ability to analyze revenues and ensure proper coding classifications. • Proficiency in month-end close activities, including journal entries and financial reporting. • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data analysis. • Experience with large ERP systems and business intelligence tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to collaborate effectively across teams.
